Here is how the Super PAC was arranged with, and by the
Federal Elections Commission :
1) SUPER PAC A POWERFUL TOOL ! Since the Supreme
Court overturned the corporation and limited corporation
donations rules as unconstitutional early in 2010, here is what we
have now :
An awesome tool set up by the F.E.C. - It's called a ' Super PAC '.
PAC means Political Action Committee.
The rules are the same as with Non - Connected Political Action
Committees except for TWO BIG differences :
A. Any individual can contribute to a Federal ( FEC regulated )
Super PAC any unlimited amount of money from either their
company/business or personal bank accounts. They are not bound by
contribution limits. This was NOT the case before.
B. If the person is not a business owner, he or she can contribute
any amount they wish to a Federal ( FEC regulated )

C. The Difference between then and now - The key function NOW
of a a Super PAC, as agreed to by the F.E.C. in the creation of
Super PACs -
1) Super PACs cannot contrubute to candidates, but can do T.V. ads
radio ads, and mailers , billboards, get out - the vote campaigns,
phone campaigns etc.
Non - Connected and other types of PACs ( Labor PACs ) can
contribute money and In- kind contributions to candidates.
( In- kind contributions = Material stuff, and
ads done in coordination with candidates. When coordinated
they do fall under a contribution limit.)
